Introducing: new class types and schedule changes

Dear friends, we have something new in store for you…

Not only are we announcing some new guest teachers, but we’re also adding new class types to the schedule, plus some additional changes to existing classes.

New types of classes //

FEMININE DANCE

  • High heels give confidence and emphasize femininity. 

  • Be creative! Be sensual! Be the best! 

  • Get ready to increase your body's sexuality and self-confidence.
    The main focus is on sensual movements, building strength and dexterity necessary for graceful and elegant movements.

  • To wear: socks/barefoot/sneakers.

  • Teacher: Vice

STREET JAZZ

  • Street Jazz also called Jazz Funk, borrows a lot of movement from other dance styles.
    From ballet-modern-hip hop- to lyrical, jazz funk incorporates little bits and pieces of other dance genres and wraps into a funky style that is both fun and expressive!

  • Some of the movements are foundational movements found in Jazz such as: isolation's, flexibility syncopation, releve`s, pirouettes, rolled shoulders, jazz hands.

  • Street Jazz is a dance style of the body and mind. It can be lyrical in the sense of emotional interpretation. Hit isolations with sheer intensity!
    Movements are soft—then hard—then soft again. Jazz Funk tells a story with your body.

  • To wear: socks/barefoot.

  • Teacher: Vice

COMMERCIAL DANCE

  • Turns, jumps, classical jazz technique and much more!
    At the commercial jazz lesson you will find everything.
    From various strength and technical exercises in the center of the hall or diagonally to exciting choreography in the style of uptempo, where you encounter the influences of different dance styles.

  • Expect sharpness, pleasant rhythms and forget about the dusty jazz image.

  • To wear: socks/barefoot/sneakers.

  • Teacher: Vice

BELLY DANCE

  • Practice the beauty and complexity of figure 8 and its variations.

  • Explore Ayoub rhythm and a new version of Maqsom, including new techniques and footwork.

  • To wear: socks, soft ballet shoes, barefoot.

  • Teacher: Dareen
